The semester is wrapping up, and many students will be moving on to full-time work, summer internships, vacations, and volunteer activities. Others may stick around campus and take a course or two. If you will be writing for classes this summer or doing other forms of writing, you can still use the Writing Studio as a resource.
The Writing Studio will be open during both Summer sessions for limited daytime hours in 112 Perkins Monday through Thursday. Writers can make both face-to-face and electronic tutoring appointments.
If the tutoring schedule does not suit your availability or needs, then consider consulting some Writing Studio online resources. These resources take the form of web pages and brief pdf handouts that cover a range of topics, including prewriting, drafting, and revising. An entire section of the Writing Studio’s Handouts and Resources page is dedicated to aiding non-native English speakers. There are also handouts that discuss various genres of writing and writing for different academic disciplines.
Have a great summer!
